Woman Died After Stepping In Front Of A Bus On 101 Freeway: CHP
Authorities ruled the death a suicide after a woman stepped in front of a bus on the Ventura (101) Freeway in Calabasas Friday.
CALABASAS, CA — Authorities identified a woman who died after stepping in front of a bus Friday on the Ventura (101) Freeway.
The woman, who was 43, stepped in front of a transit bus around 7:39 p.m. Friday on the northbound freeway just west of Mureau Road, according to the California Highway Patrol. Her vehicle was located on the right shoulder, according to CHP.
The death was ruled a suicide by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner and the cause of death listed was blunt head trauma.

The woman was pronounced dead on the scene, according to CHP.
The incident prompted a Sig Alert until 10:50 p.m. Friday, according to CHP.
