1 Person Confirmed Dead In Small Plane Crash In The Bay Area
Emergency crews searched the side of a mountain for the remains of a small plane crash.
SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA — A small plane crash Friday afternoon in Santa Clara County left one person dead, officials said.
At around 2:30 p.m., Cal Fire crews responded to the reported crash near Mount Hamilton.
CAL FIRE's SCU unit, which works the South Bay, Alameda County, and Stanislaus and San Joaquin counties, were at the scene of what officials called an extensive debris field.

There was no reports of a fire.
