$10K Reward Offered For Information In 2021 Parking Space Killing

SAN JOSE, CA — Police offered a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of a man who fatally shot another man in a dispute over a parking space in 2021.

The slaying happened around 7:46 p.m. June 4, 2021, in the area of 4100 The Woods Drive, an apartment complex in San Jose, according to the San Jose Police Department. Officers found a man who had been shot and killed in front of his family.

Detectives identified Uatesoni Joseph Paasi as the suspect and issued an arrest warrant for homicide. He is believed to be in the area of Baja, Mexico, and should be considered armed and dangerous, police said.

The killing was the city's 19th homicide of 2021.
