​6 Injured In Crash Involving Stolen Vehicle: Sheriff's Office

SAN JOSE, CA — Six people were seriously injured when an allegedly stolen car collided with another vehicle in San Jose early Saturday morning, according to the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office.

Sheriff's deputies noticed a silver Infinity that was reported stolen at about 2:20 a.m. near King Road and Marbury Road. The car sped away before a traffic stop could be conducted, and deputies did not pursue the vehicle, the sheriff's office said on X.

The Infinity crashed into a Ford Fusion at McKee Road and North Jackson Avenue.

North Jackson Avenue was closed for several hours following the collision and remained closed between Mather Drive and Rinehart Drive as of about noon Saturday.
