Another Mountain Lion Spotted Near San Jose Park

Thursday's was the latest in a string of recent mountain lion sightings in the area.

SAN JOSE, CA — San Jose city officials posted an alert that a mountain lion was spotted Thursday near a park in the city, the second sighting of a big cat in as many days in the city.

The mountain lion was seen near Kelley Park, the city said in a social media post on Thursday afternoon.

On Wednesday night, a mountain lion was spotted in another area of the city, near Ella Drive and War Admiral Way in South San Jose, according to police. Several callers in the area reported seeing the mountain lion walking into the yards.
