Councilman Picks Up Support in Run for Assembly
Evan Low has gained more endorsements from state Assembly members.

Campbell's is picking up steam, and support, for his run for .
Low announced Wednesday that he has received endorsements from California Assembly members Luis Alejo, Richard Pan and Das Williams.
Each has lauded Low's record of innovative leadership on a wide range of issues at the local level as reasons for their support.

"Many of those who are supporting my candidacy are business and regional leaders," Low said. "There are critical issues facing our state and economy, and I am honored to have the support of so many regional leaders who have worked with me at the local level who also have the confidence in my abilities to serve in Sacramento. "
Low announced in March that he would pursue the seat in the state Assembly and continues to serve on the Campbell City Council to help make decisions that impact the look and feel of Campbell.

"After serving for five years now on the City Council and having great city staff and colleagues to work with in Campbell, I am able to continue the work that I am doing locally, while also making sure that I am informed on issues that face the region and state," Low said. "I want to be sure that I am as knowledgeable on the issues as possible, so that I can hit the ground running on day one. I am excited to be able to continue my work on policy issues to improve the lives of all of us."
The three state assembly members who announced their endorsements of Low join a growing list of supporters for the Campbell councilman, including:

- State Sen. Leland Yee
- Assemblyman Paul Fong
- Assemblyman Bill Monning
- Cupertino Mayor Gilbert Wong
- San Jose Vice Mayor Madison Nguyen
- Mountain View Mayor Jac Siegel
- Palo Alto Mayor Sid Espinosa
- The Asian Pacific Islander Legislative Caucus
- The Campbell Police Officers’ Association.
