Campbell Police Needs Help Finding Bank Robber

The suspect robbed the Patelco Credit Union on Bascom Avenue May 24.

Campbell Police are asking residents for help in finding a bank robber.
On Friday, May 24 at approximately 2 p.m., the Patelco Credit Union at 1790 S. Bascom Ave. was robbed, Campbell Police Sgt. Gary Berg said.

"The suspect walked into the bank and presented a demand note to the tellers," Berg said.

After receiving the money, the suspect, described as a white male adult, approximately 5’7” tall, with slender to medium build (approximately 160 pounds), fled on foot.

Additional descriptions of the suspect include dirty blond hair that was balding on the top and sides (see attached photographs) and wearing a purple dress shirt with a tie and black slacks. 

Berg said that although not confirmed, Campbell Police is also looking at a similar bank robbery in Lafayette, Calif.
