Campbell's First Holiday Extravaganza

The Downtown Campbell Business Association is hosting its first Holiday Extravaganza this Thursday, Nov. 15.

The event takes place at Villa Ragusa from 6-9:00 p.m. and will offer a chance to shop the holidays in Campbell in a single place. Admission is $5 or a new children's book. All proceeds benefit the Assistance League of Los Gatos-Saratoga.

"Holiday shopping is an important component for merchants everywhere," says Downtown Campbell Business Association President Sonya Paz. "We wanted to give people an opportunity to have a one-stop shop, a mini-business expo."

Participating merchants will be showcasing products and offerings they will have for the holidays and new restaurants will be offering a chance to taste their holiday specials, Paz says.

The evening is a chance to offer some exposure to the small businesses in Campbell and, hopefully, entice people to shop local, she says.

"Downtowns like ourselves won’t be able to survive. There won’t be any downtowns left if people don’t come buy and support," she says. "If you’re going to spend your dollars, spend it where you make it. This expo is a chance to tell people 'We’re here and we want your business for the holidays, and here’s what we have to offer.'"
