Campbell School Calendar 2017-18: First Day Of School, Vacations, Conferences

The first day of school in Campbell is August 23. Feel free to mark it on your calendar as one of the most dreaded days of the year for students and teachers — and feel free not to feel guilty about marking it as one of your favorites. The Campbell School District has released its 2017-2018 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

September

• 9/4: Labor Day (No school)
• 9/6, 13, 20, & 17: Shortened Days

October

• 10/27: Prof. Development (No school)
• 10/30 & 10/31: Parent-Teacher Conference Days, First Report Card (Shortened days for students)
• 10/4, 11, 18, 25, 30 & 31: Shortened Days

November

• 11/1-3: Parent-Teacher Conferences (Short days)
• 11/10: Veterans' Day (No school)
• 11/20-24: Thanksgiving Break (No school)
• 11/1, 2, 3, 8, 15, 22, & 29: Shortened Days

December

• 12/22-29: Winter Break (No school)
• 12/6, 13, & 20: Shortened Days

January

• 1/1-5: Winter Break (No school)
• 1/15: M.L.King Jr.'s Holiday (No school)
• 1/10, 17, 24, & 31: Shortened Days

February

• 2/19-23: Presidents' Week (No school)
• 2/26-28: Intervention Conferences
• 2/7, 14, & 28: Shortened Days

March

• 3/1 & 3/2: Intervention Conferences
• 3/7, 14, 21, & 28: Shortened Days

April

• 4/9-13: Spring Break (No school)
• 4/16: State testing period begins
• 4/4, 18, & 25: Shortened Days

May

• 5/28: Memorial Day (No school)
• 5/2, 9, 16, 23, & 30: Shortened Days

June

• 6/1: State testing period ends
• 6/13: Last Day of School
