UPDATED: Campbell's Health Trust Scammed Out of $160,000

Campbell business that helps the community with programs such as Meals on Wheels and AIDS services were scammed from within.

Last week was a bad week for Campbell businesses and nonprofits.

YouSentIt former CEO and founder to cyber attacking his former business.

And a former official was arrested June 23 for scamming the local nonprofit out of $160,000.

According to an article published by the Mercury News, Daryl Nguyen has been charged with two counts of grand theft by the Santa Clara County District Attorney's Office. His court date is scheduled July 19.

"I would say that it’s not uncommon to come across cases where employees embezzle money or commit theft," says Capt. Dave Carmichael. "It certainly is uncommon to have cases in the hundreds of thousands of dollars. It’s a significant case."
