Chicago Man Arrested In Connection With Homicide Near San Jose State

On March 27th before 3 a.m., San Jose police officers responded to a report of a shooting near the area of San Jose State University.

SAN JOSE, CA — A Chicago resident was arrested in connection with a March homicide near San Jose State University, police announced on Monday.

Ronnel Spencer, 31, a resident of Cook County, was arrested on May 15 by the Chicago Police Department on suspicion of domestic violence and firearms-related changes.

On March 27th before 3 a.m., San Jose police officers responded to a report of a shooting near the area of South 4th Street and East San Carlos Street, where they found an adult male suffering from at least one gunshot sound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
