Do You Know What Huffing Is?
It's a new trend among kids wanting to get high...and has resulted in deaths.

A Campbell man was arrested Sunday after midnight for huffing in the parking garage on the 600 block of Campbell Avenue.
Huffing is the act of inhaling legal chemicals to get high. According to www.inhalants.org, one in five students has tried to get high by inhaling some chemical, such as Freon from an air conditioner, or compounds to clean computer screens. In earlier times, they sniffed glue, which also had deadly effects.
The parents of a Southern California 14-year-old girl who died huffing have been trying to spread the word, according to this story on KTLA-TV. They say huffing can result in death or brain damage as much as 20 percent of the time it is done.
Campbell Police booked Lawrence Ruiz, 40, Sunday at 12:30 a.m. for huffing.
