Election Lawn Signs: Useful or Just Plain Blight?

On Thursday, we asked how readers felt about the election mailers that they receive in their mailbox and the outpouring of frustration came through in the several comments we received.

Now, we take a look at the signage popping up on lawns, strips of grass in front of businesses and shopping complexes and even along the chainlink fence at the corner of Campbell and Dot avenues.

Do these signs sway you one direction or another? Did they help you become aware of a proposition/measure/candidate that you hadn't heard of before? Or are they simply blemishes that you drive past on your way home, school or to shop?
