Eligible Santa Clara Co. Residents Can Get COVID-19 Booster Shots

Pfizer COVID-19 booster shots are available at five large-scale vaccination sites throughout Santa Clara County.

SANTA CLRA COUNTY, CA — Booster COVID-19 vaccinations for eligible Santa Clara County residents are now available.

Those who received Pfizer vaccinations and are 65 years of age or older, residents long-term care facilities and those 50 years or older with underlying medical conditions are urged to get a booster shot.

They are available at five large-scale vaccination sites throughout the county.

“It’s important protection, and people can easily get a booster right now,” said Santa Clara County Public Health Officer Dr. Sara Cody. “We anticipate there will be a significant spike in demand when COVID-19 vaccinations become available for the youngest segment of our population. Now is the time to get a booster.”

The Morgan Hill site offers drop-in availability, and the remaining four sites require appointments:
