Stacks Holds Toy Drive Benefitting Campbell Community Toy Drive
Two local ladies want to give back to their community this holiday season.
The Campbell community is holding various charity drives and events to benefit those less fortunate this time of year and Stacks is the newest business to offer up its help.
Yaneth Gutierrez and Monica Bourne at Stacks decided they wanted to help their community out by holding a toy drive.

"We know that every one is going through a tough times, but we know that out there, there are still millions of people with great hearts and I know for sure that those hearts have a toy inside for the kids of our community," Gutierrez says. "And also I know that when we give, and help others we get millions of blessings because I've been one that have received so many of them."
Gutierrez approached her regional supervisor for permission to hold the toy drive at the popular breakfast place and once she had the OK, she enlisted the help of her husband and friends to help put together the collection baskets and get the word out.

"I found few cute baskets, which I decorated so that way they will attract the attention of our patrons, my friend and I exchanged texts messages planing the toy drive, but most of all it was about collecting as many toys as possible, and even picturing the happy kids, it is not about gaining popularity, it is more about bringing a big, muy grande smile onto a little kid's face, which is worth more than anything to us," she says.
Cash donations are also an option, Bourne says.
A few customers have made monetary donations and Gutierrez and Bourne have used it to purchase toys for the drive.
The drive, which benefits the Campbell Community Toy Drive sponsored by the Campbell Chamber of Commerce and the Santa Clara County Fire Department. This particular donation site runs through Dec. 18 at Stacks in Campbell and organizers are asking for new, unwrapped toys, as well as books and games.
