​Family Of 4 Displaced By San Jose House Fire

The fire was contained to the house's kitchen and attic.

SAN JOSE, CA — A family of four and their dog were displaced by a residential fire in East San Jose on Saturday morning.

The fire was reported at about 10:30 a.m. at a single-family residence in the 200 block of Alpine Avenue, according to the San Jose Fire Department.

The fire was contained to the house's kitchen and attic and was brought under control in about a half-hour. No injuries were reported.

The San Jose Fire Department asked drivers to avoid the area in a message on X at about noon.
