SAN JOSE, CA — A two-alarm fire was extinguished in a utility room at a strip mall in San Jose on Tuesday morning, a fire captain said.
The blaze was reported at 6:58 a.m. at a shopping center near the intersection of Camden and Union avenues, San Jose Fire Capt. Mitch Matlow said.
Crews responded and found the fire was contained to the utility room so the second-alarm response was canceled. The fire was declared under control 24 minutes after the initial report, Matlow said.
