CAMPBELL, CA — The sky became a canvas for a mixed media of phenomena on the last evening of 2023. Phil Carlson snapped this photo from his Campbell home that shows fog creeping over the Santa Cruz Mountains and into the Santa Clara Valley just as the sky is set ablaze by the sunset.
