City Councilman Set to Make Major Announcement

The suspense has lingered ever since a press release was sent out Tuesday morning.  

The release simply said that Campbell City Councilman Evan Low will hold a press conference Thursday to make a major announcement.

“Councilmember Low is a dynamic leader, and I’m excited to be part of this event,” Campbell Mayor said.

Baker is one of five local mayors who will be present at the event. Others who will attend are the following:

• San Jose Vice Mayor Madison Nguyen
• Palo Alto Mayor Sid Espinosa
• Cupertino Mayor Gilbert Wong
• Mountain View Mayor Jac Siegel

Low, a former Campbell mayor, was elected to the Campbell City Council in November 2006 and in 2010 became the youngest Asian-American mayor in the country.

The press conference will take place at 5 p.m. Thursday the , 1628 W. Campbell Ave., in Campbell.
