Hash House GM Responds To Health Inspection Article
Nick Voutos, general manager of the Hash House in Campbell, says the restaurant had a floor drain at a hand washing sink that was backed up.

CAMPBELL - A restaurant manager from Campbell whose establishment was noted as one of 26 that had been closed by the County Health Department in an article on Patch last week has responded to Patch in an email, wanting to explain what caused authorities to act.
Nick Voutos, general manager of the Hash House in Campbell, says on the 13th of January, during a routine health inspection, the restaurant had a floor drain from a hand washing sink that was found to be backed up.
Technically, Voutos says the Health Department considered the problem as raw sewage.

Voutos says the inspector was doing her job, and gave the restaurant a red placard until the problem was corrected. The manager says the problem was resolved that day, and the green placard reinstated.
The inspector returned on the 19th. At that time, Voutos says a full Health Department inspection of the restaurant scored 76.
