Holiday Comedy 'A Sherlock Carol' Scheduled In Bay Area
The classic British detective meets Christmas cheer in a holiday mystery running Nov. 20 to Dec. 15.
SAN JOSE, CA — This holiday season, San Jose Stage Company will bring a whimsical mystery twist to the stage with A Sherlock Carol, a holiday comedy blending Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol with Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes.
Written by Mark Shanahan, the play follows Holmes as he investigates the death of Ebenezer Scrooge after a grown-up Tiny Tim seeks his help.
Performances run from Nov. 20 through Dec. 15, at San Jose Stage Company’s downtown theater.
