Know This Face? Campbell Police Looking For Help In Identifying Armed Robbery Suspect

Campbell police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying a suspect in an armed robbery involving a firearm at a used car lot.

SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA -- Recognize the face in above police sketch? If so, then authorities in the South Bay want to hear from you.

The Campbell Police Department is currently investigating an armed robbery involving a firearm. We are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.

Police say that at about 6:50 p.m. on April 5, an unknown male who identified himself as “Robbie” walked in to the office of Keiser Motors at 1169 Dell Ave. in Campbell, asking about a truck that was for sale. The suspect test drove the truck and upon returning to the business walked out to his vehicle to retrieve paperwork.

Upon returning to the office, police say, the suspect had changed his clothing and was wearing a dark pants, a dark colored beanie cap, and a blue zip-up jacket with a blue checker flannel liner. He brandished a black semi-automatic pistol and demanded money from the victim, according to authorities.

The suspect is said to have then fled the business in a tan or champagne colored truck southbound on Dell Avenue. The truck was captured on surveillance cameras and can be seen in the second photo above.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 30s, 5’10” tall, 150 lbs, with brown hair. He was also described as possibly having a mental disability based on his interaction with the victim, police. The victim was able to assist in producing a composite sketch of the suspect, as seen above.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect or has any information about the robbery is asked to call the CPD's 24-hour dispatch center at (408) 866-2101 or the Investigations Unit at (408) 871-5190. Tips can also be submitted anonymously through Campbell Police Department's free mobile application, downloadable from the App Store or Google Play.
