At Least 882 Without Power In San Jose: PG&E

Several outages continue to affect the South Bay Monday afternoon, PG&E confirmed.

CAMPBELL, CA — 882 people are without power in San Jose, and 24 are without power in Campbell, a representative for Pacific Gas & Electric confirmed to Patch.

In Campbell, 24 customers are without power, in Saratoga, 50 are without power, and in Los Gatos - where over 3,000 customers lost power Sunday - just 2 customers remain without power, according to a PG&E spokesperson.

The Campbell outage was planned. It began at 8:08 a.m. Monday and is expected to be restored by 6 p.m.

Several smaller outages affecting 1-2 people are reported throughout the Bay Area as the biggest storm of the year is delivering rain and the possibility of lightning. In the past 24 hours, San Jose International Airport has reported a total of 0.13 inches of rain and SFO has reported 0.34 inches, according to the National Weather Service.

On Sunday night, the Mountain View Police Department tweeted that more than 14,000 customers lost power. Power has been restored as of Monday morning.
