Local Watering Holes, Dives and Bars
In Campbell, there's several spots that can fall under one of those designations.
What makes a place where people meet and drink together a bar? A pub? A dive? A watering hole?
There are so many designations and many are simply in the eye of the beholder, so to speak.
This week, the Metro Newspaper's Gary Singh dedicated his column to the various dive bars along Bascom Avenue, between San Jose and Los Gatos. Some are in Campbell, and are still in existence, but many, many more have long since disappeared.
