Man, Woman In Early 20s ID'd As Pair Found Dead In East SJ Home

There are currently no suspects linked to the double homicide in the foothills of East San Jose, according to police.

SAN JOSE, CA — A pair found dead as a result of a double homicide in the foothills of East San Jose on Wednesday night have been identified, according to the Santa Clara County medical examiner's office. Emilio Salazar, 21, and Jennifer Martinez, 24, of San Jose, were found dead in the 3800 block of Sierra Road around 10 p.m. Wednesday.

San Jose police officers found them after dispatch received a report of someone shot in the area, police said.

Salazar and Martinez were the ninth and 10th homicides of 2018 on city streets in San Jose, according to San Jose police Sgt. Enrique Garcia.

Currently, there are no suspects linked to the case.
