Norovirus Sickens 250 In San Jose Schools: Report

Breaking: Santa Clara County health officials have confirmed that number, according to the report.

SAN JOSE, CA — More than 250 students in the San Jose area have contracted Norovirus, according to a report by NBC Bay Area. Santa Clara County health officials confirmed the number Wednesday. Classes have not been cancelled at this point, but the report says all extra-curricular activities have been cancelled.

On a related note, Alameda County Department of Environmental Health officials said Norovirus was suspected but was not confirmed as the source of a sickness that hit a college softball team and caused a Livermore In-N-Out Burger to close down last week.
