• Man convicted of San Jose rape faces life sentence due to sex crime history in Norway (eastbaytimes.com) — A woman who says she met a man at a Campbell bar and later went to his San Jose apartment has secured a jury conviction against him for rape and attempted rape. The defendant’s prior rape convictions in Norway can now be used at sentencing, exposing him to a possible life term and bringing international history into a South Bay courtroom.
