Pedestrian Killed In South Bay Hit-And-Run: CHP
The victim was identified as a 46-year-old San José man, the CHP said.

SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA — The body of a pedestrian killed in an apparent hit-and-run crash in San José was found Wednesday morning, the California Highway Patrol said.
Officers at around 7:05 a.m. responded to an Alum Rock Avenue location east of Kirk Avenue on the report of a vehicle-pedestrian collision, the CHP said. Officers determined the crash occurred overnight.
The victim, a 46-year-old San José man, was located off the right shoulder of the roadway, partially in some bushes.

“Injuries and debris potentially related to this incident indicate the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle, which then fled the scene, resulting in a fatal hit and run crash investigation,” the CHP said.
The case is under investigation.
