SAN JOSE - A Powerball ticket sold in San Jose turned out to be worth $1.9 million this week, according to California Lottery officials.
Dana Mookini matched five out of six numbers, resulting in a $1,900,176 prize before federal taxes.
Mookini redeemed the ticket this week at the lottery offices in Hayward, but declined to share the story behind the win, according to lottery officials.

The winning ticket was purchased at the Wine Rack Liquor Store, 5768 Santa Teresa Blvd., in San Jose.
The Wine Rack has won a $9,500 retailer bonus for selling the ticket to Mookini.
