How do you know the teacher?

Worked professionally with her for years, and I was fortunate to have her children in my class.

What does this person teach?

Has taught primary grades (K, 1, and combo), but is now the reading specialist.

Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

All teachers are hardworking, but Beth goes above and beyond to make every student reach their highest potential by designing individual educational plans, making connections with students, getting parent support, and raising student self-esteem through reaching high, but obtainable goals. Her classroom is an engaging, educational, and comfortable refuge for students that struggle in a very high-achieving school district.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?

Don't let her southern charm fool you; she is always willing to fight for what is best for all kids!
