San Jose Man Missing; Silver Alert Issued By Police

The 83-year-old was last seen Wednesday driving his 1999 Toyota Avalon, police said.

SAN JOSE, CA — San Jose police are asking for the public's help in finding an 83-year-old man who went missing Wednesday. Long Truong went missing around 4 p.m. Wednesday from the area of Tully Road and McLaughlin Avenue, according to police. Truong was driving a 1999 Toyota Avalon with California license plate No. 4DQR794.

Police released photos of the vehicle and of Truong, who is described as being 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighs 112 pounds, has white hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a beige jacket, gray pants and glasses, police said.

A Silver Alert, used in disappearances of elderly people, has been issued for Truong, who police said suffers from an unspecified medical condition.
