San Tomas Expressway Death: "I Prayed For The Dying Man For Quite Some Time."
The personal words of a woman who says she was among the first on scene Sunday at a crash in Campbell that killed a man.

CAMPBELL, CA - A crash on the San Tomas Expressway late Sunday afternoon between a bicyclist and a vehicle led to the ultimate death of a man in Campbell.
Sometimes, it seems, there are so many crashes, so many deaths, so much tragedy, that we forget about the human side of the passing of a human being, alive just a few moments earlier, unless we're directly affected.
Patch received this email from a reader who says she was among the first on scene at the Campbell collision, and found herself trying to comfort a dying man.

I prayed for the dying man for quite some time, laying hands on him.
My shirt was used to cover his face after he passed, to protect his dignity from those passing by.
We live right behind the San Tomas wall, and jumped it to get to him.
Tragic.
Blessings,
Crystal
