South Bay After-School Program Operator Accused Of Raping Student
The victim was a 14-year-old who attended the after-school program at Trace Elementary, according to police.

SAN JOSE, CA — The owner of a martial arts studio and operator of an after-school program at a San Jose elementary school was accused of raping a student, according to the San Jose Police Department.
Ernest Ramirez, a 54-year-old San Jose resident, faces multiple sexual assault charges. The victim was a 14-year-old who Ramirez met at the after-school program at Trace Elementary where he would transport students to his studio in San Jose, according to police.
Police said the sexual assaults occurred between August 2020 and June 2021.

Ramirez was arrested in Ada County, Idaho last week and booked into Santa Clara County Main Jail.
He was charged with four counts of rape of a child under 14 years old.
