UPDATED: Stabbing Suspect Arrested, Charged with Attempted Murder
Campbell Police Investigators located 27-year-old Gustavo Dasilva in Long Beach, Calif.

The man wanted in Campbell last week has been found.
stated in a release that 27-year-old Gustavo Dasilva was located on June 14 in Long Beach, Calif. with a girlfriend, police said. Dasilva was arrested inside the residence and transported back to Campbell.

"We had some leads that he was fleeing the area and heading toward Southern California," said Campbell Police Capt. Dave Carmichael. "It was a pretty long day for the four detectives that drove down and back but we were fortunate that we were able to do this really quickly without using too many resources."
Dasilva is suspected of stabbing another 27-year-old man off of 399 N. Central Avenue on June 9.

"We don't know all the motive but do know that the two men did know each other," Carmichael said. "They were in some kind of altercations that ended in the stabbing."
He was booked into the Santa Clara County Jail on Attempted Murder charges, police said.
In 2011, there were 49 reported aggravated assaults, which this incident would fall under, Carmichael said
The incident is not believed to be gang-related nor a domestic dispute, he said.
