Supervisor Candidate's Statement Misprinted
Santa Clara County officials say an error was made on former Campbell Mayor Jason Baker's statement on the voter guide.

SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA — Due to a vendor error, the first three lines of a Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors candidate's statement were omitted in the county's voter information guide, according to the Santa Clara County Registrar of Voters. Former Campbell Mayor Jason Baker, one of six candidates for the
District 4 seat on the Board of Supervisors, is the candidate whose full statement was not printed in the guide, according to the registrar's office.
The 174,000 voters in the affected district will be mailed a notice describing the error, the county agency said. A notice will also be placed on the office's website and posted at each polling place in District 4 and all Early Voting Centers.
The Registrar of Voters office said in a statement that only the information guides, not the official ballots, have this error. Candidate statements are not on official ballots, county officials said.

Controversy has already stormed the supervisors' race, as sexual harassment and inappropriate behavior allegations have surfaced about former candidate Dominic Caserta and local law enforcement figures have called for Pierluigi Oliverio's withdrawal from the race in light of 2014 harassment allegations against him.
Caserta resigned from his Santa Clara City Council seat and withdrew from the race this morning after he said that his employer Santa Clara Unified School District leaked his personnel file causing "irreparable
harm" to him and his family.
