Transient Arrested, Accused Of Committing Lewd Acts On Child, 12

An eye witness account of a sexual assault of a child in progress led to the quick arrest of the man faces felony accusations: SJ Police.

SAN JOSE, CA — A 43-year-old transient man was arrested on suspicion of committing lewd and lascivious acts with a minor, the San Jose Police Department reported.

Coshmond Hill was taken into custody after officers responded to a 2:24 p.m. call Wednesday of a sexual assault in progress in the 100 block of North 4th Street. The suspect allegedly lured the victim in an alleyway, police added.

Hill, who was identified from a witness account, faces accusations of sodomy against a minor
and false imprisonment, according to the police report. The victim, whose identity has been concealed, is 12 years old.
