Viewfinder: Hamann Park Neighbors Celebrate National Night Out
The neighborhood split between San Jose and Campbell came out, mingled and got to know each other and their beat officers.
Several residents came out to have a hot dog with each other, meet their beat officers and simply spend some time together.
Hamann Park Neighborhood Association hosted its third annual event yesterday.
Helping them kick things off were four members of the . This is the school's first appearance at this event.

"We get a little better each years," says former association president Glen Lynch.
This year, the festivities kicked off earlier at 5:30 p.m.

"It's important because it gives a big group of neighbors a chance to relax and get together," Lynch says.
