VTA Buses Re-Routed Due To Gas Leak
A truck struck a gas meter, causing VTA to re-route two of its buses.

SAN JOSE, CA — A gas leak caused two Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority bus lines to be re-routed in San Jose this morning. The leak was reported at 8:35 a.m. Wednesday and resulted from a truck that struck a gas meter in the 1900 block of Alum Rock Avenue, PG&E spokeswoman Mayra Tostado said.
PG&E crews responded and stopped the flow of gas at 9:07 a.m., Tostado said.
No customers were impacted by the leak except for the one associated with the gas meter, she said. Crews will remain on scene until the repairs to the meter are complete.
