Offshore Earthquake Shakes Santa Cruz County
A 2.6 earthquake hit on Saturday afternoon.
The earthquake shown in the graphic above hit offshore at 12:47 p.m. Saturday.
The shake rang in at 2.6 on the Richter scale, 13 miles SSW of Capitola out in the ocean.
Seven people, from as far away as Carmel Valley and Martinez, reported feeling on the U.S. Geological Survey website. Did you feel it? Tell us in the comments!
