3 New Shops Open At The Forum Carlsbad

Nike by La Costa, Alo Yoga and McConnell's Fine Ice Creams are the latest retail and eatery spaces at the outdoor shopping mall.

CARLSBAD, CA — Three new shops have opened or will soon open their doors at The Forum Carlsbad.

Nike by La Costa, Alo Yoga and McConnell's Fine Ice Creams are the latest retail and eatery spaces at the outdoor shopping mall, according to Northwood Retail, which operates The Forum Carlsbad.

"We believe that all these incredible new locations fulfill and fit the needs of the North County market," said Ward Kampf, president of Northwood Retail.

"Nike is the greatest direct-to-consumer brand and one of the top retailers in the world, while Alo transcends categories, has been phenomenally successful, and is highly regarded by contemporary, bridge and luxury tenants," Kampf added. "Santa Barbara-based McConnell's is a premier ice cream purveyor in the U.S. with its own dairy farm — it's authentic with a wide reach."

Nike by La Costa, now open in a 6,008-square-foot space at the corner near Urban Outfitters and across from Sur La Table. The shop offers an assortment of sports performance apparel, footwear and accessories.

Alo Yoga, now open in a 5,502-square-foot space between Johnny Was and Madewell, offers "studio-to-street" yoga clothes.

Nike opened in a portion of the previous H+M space and Alo opened in the previous Victoria's Secret space.

McConnell's Fine Ice Creams, set to open later this month, is located next to Geppetto's in a 1,006-square-foot space. The company's ice cream is made from scratch, using Central Coast grass-grazed milk and cream, and local ingredients from partner farms and purveyors.

The Forum Carlsbad is on the corner of Calle Barcelona and Leucadia Boulevard in Carlsbad.
