Crews are working to extinguish a brush fire alongside Interstate 5 at Las Pulgas Road in the Camp Pendleton area, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A big rig also has caught fire in the area, though it's not clear if the two blazes are related.
Traffic is at a standstill on the southbound side of the freeway in the area.
