Carlsbad Restaurant Ranks Among 100 Most Romantic In U.S.: OpenTable

CARLSBAD, CA — Just in time for Valentine's Day, OpenTable has released its annual list of the most romantic restaurants in America, which includes one from Carlsbad.

The reservation service released its 2025 iteration of the Top 100 Romantic Restaurants in America, an elite list developed from more than 10 million diner reviews and other metrics from Dec. 1, 2023 to Nov. 30, 2024, according to the site. Three San Diego area restaurants made the cut: Jeune et Jolie in Carlsbad, Mister A's in San Diego and The Marine Room in La Jolla.

Contemporary French restaurant Jeune et Jolie has a 4.9-star rating on OpenTable.

"A culinary experience celebrating the moment, Jeune et Jolie reimagines French cuisine through the vibrant lens of our Southern California landscape," according to Open Table's description.

Contemporary French and American restaurant Mister A's has a 4.9-star rating on OpenTable.

"Mister A's is the penthouse, fine-dining destination of San Diego, and has been for over 50 years," according to Open Table's description.

Seafood restaurant The Marine Room has a 4.6-star rating on OpenTable.

"Considering this rare blend of culinary excellence, uncompromising service and beachfront setting, it's no wonder The Marine Room has become a true San Diego landmark," according to Open Table's description.

The full list includes restaurants in 34 states and Puerto Rico. One thing to keep in mind — reservations book up quickly, with about half gone two weeks before Valentine's Day, according to OpenTable.
