Discovery Isle Preschool Students Donate 1,300 Food Items to Food Bank
Students at three schools held food drives to benefit the local food bank
Students at three Discovery Isle Preschools in Carlsbad and San Marcos recently held food drives to benefit the San Diego Food Bank. Students collected more than 1,300 food items and 13 boxes full of food, which included items like canned fruits and vegetables, cereal, crackers, pasta, and more. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of helping others, especially during the holiday season.
