Discovery Isle Preschool Students Donate Infant Care Items to Charity

Students at four Discovery Isle Preschools in Oceanside, Poway, and San Diego recently held donation drives to collect food and infant care items to benefit Gently Hugged and the San Diego Food Bank. Throughout November and December, the four schools worked together to collect more than 200 baby items, including bibs, blankets, and clothes, as well as more than 200 nonperishable food items. The organizations will distribute the donated items to local families in need. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of helping others, especially during the holiday season.
