Gordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen Debuts This Week At Harrah's In San Diego
Reservations are filling fast for the new restaurant opening Friday at the hotel and casino in the Funner-Valley Center area.
FUNNER, CA — Gordon Ramsay Hell's Kitchen — the restaurant made famous on the celeb chef's reality cooking show — is poised to open its first California location Friday at Harrah’s Resort Southern California in Funner/Valley Center.
And reservations appear to be going fast since going live in mid-July. A quick scan of OpenTable, the eatery's online booking service, shows the next available seatings are in September.
The restaurant from Michelin-starred chef Ramsay, known for his strict kitchen rules and temperamental outbursts, will offer many of his dishes featured on the TV show, including beef Wellington, pan-seared scallops, crispy skin salmon and sticky toffee pudding.

Also available will be Wagyu meatballs, Mishima Reserve ribeye, Jidori chicken scallopini, such vegetarian and vegan options as truffle risotto, quinoa salad and golden beet salad, plus Gordon Ramsay Hell's Kitchen signature prix-fixe menu with wine pairings.
Cocktails carry on the "hellish" theme with such sips as Notes from Gordon, The Pitchfork, Fear and Loathing, and Meet Your Maker.

“Whether you’re a devout epicurean, a wine enthusiast, or simply a fan of the renowned show, this restaurant will offer something for everyone,” said general manager Sarah Ertmann.
The 332-seat restaurant follows the TV show's design decor of red and blue flames, plus features an exhibition kitchen, lounge, two private dining rooms and two chef's tables.
“We are thrilled to welcome guests near and far to have the legendary Gordon Ramsay Hell's Kitchen experience,” said Bo Mazzetti, chairman of the Rincon Tribe, the resort owner. “It has been an honor to work side-by-side with Chef Ramsay and his team to bring this restaurant to life.”
Ramsay's restaurant empire includes two other Hell's Kitchens — at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas and in Lake Tahoe, Nevada.
The new Harrah's dining spot in the San Diego region will be open for daily dinner service from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays, and 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Reservations can be booked here via OpenTable.
Harrah's Resort, with hotel and casino, is at 777 Harrah's Rincon Way, Valley Center.
