Palomar Comets defeats El Camino 14-10

By David A. Willauer-Contributing Writer-9-15-24: After their first defeat that was held on the campus of Palomar College, the Comets got back on track as they registered their first win as they defeated El Camino College by a 14-10 score in a football JC showdown.

Mason Thomas started off the day with a 40 yard interception return. The second Palomar touchdown came as Comet qb KJ Cheatham (154 yards passing) threw a 66 yard pass to Mission Hills alum Skai Donnell 2 receptions for 69 yards.

Vista alum Chris Bausch led the Comets in rushing with 63 yards. Lincoln alum Ayden Billups 54 yards receiving.

Palomar goes to 1-1 and will host College of the Canyons next Saturday 9-27 at Palomar Stadium kickoff is at 2 PM
