• 98 Rock Blood Drive Brings Out Donors (citrusheightsmessenger.com) — Carmichael residents Craig and volunteer Russell Muir played visible roles in a three-day 98 Rock blood drive at the Marketplace at Birdcage in Citrus Heights, which surpassed donation goals despite cold, wet weather. Families from Carmichael and across the region turned blood-giving into a yearly tradition, helping Vitalant keep local hospitals stocked for emergencies, surgeries, and cancer treatments.
