One person was killed Saturday during a fiery crash on the San Diego (405) Freeway in West Los Angeles, the California Highway Patrol said.
The crash on the northbound freeway at Santa Monica Boulevard was reported at 5:11 a.m. The CHP received a report of a vehicle fire with at least one person still inside.
A SigAlert was issued at 5:52 a.m. closing numbers 1, 2 and 3 lanes for approximately one hour.
