Shred-It and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Identity Theft Task Force are teaming up to help local residents combat identity theft by hosting a FREE Community Shred-It Event this Saturday.
Participants can bring all unwanted personal documents they can carry for shredding. Shred-It mobile shredding trucks will shred documents free of charge. Plus, representatives will be on site to offer tips on how you can protect yourself against identity theft.
This event will take place Saturday, May 18 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the parking lot south of Allen Tire located at Los Cerritos Center, 239 Los Cerritos Center.
