Cerritos College to Offer ESL Classes in Fall

The Cerritos College's Liberal Arts Division will be offering classes in English as a Second Language (ESL) with the start of the Fall semester starting Monday, Aug. 16.

The courses are being offered at beginning, intermediate and advanced levels, and are available for $36 per unit (most classes are three units). There will be several classes offered during both the day and evening. Most classes meet twice a week and are available during both the 18-week session and the first and second 9-week sessions.

The classes will cover: 
- Pronunciation
- Oral communication
- Speaking and listening
- Grammar
- Reading
- Vocabulary
- Writing and structure
- American expressions and culture
- Spelling
- Editing

The 18-week session runs from Aug. 15 to Dec. 16. The First 9-week session runs from Aug. 15 to Oct. 14, and the second 9-week session runs from Oct. 17 to Dec. 16.
